Obituary of Isabel Barnes

Isabel Barnes Passed peacefully away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Lakeside Homes in Gander, aged 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Pleaman; two sons, Sterling, and Alvin, and her grandson Michael Freake. She leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters: Louise (Cyril) Powell, Nellie (Wilson) Freake, Sybil (Boyde) Nichol, and Melvina (Jimmy) Barnes; seven sons: Alex (Bev), Elam (Wanda), Leo (Bernice), Hedley (Sandra), Truman (Darlene), Rodney, and Cory (Roz); 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters in law: Carrie Bennett, Mary Holmes, and Ida Barnes; as well as a large circle of many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Resting at Salvation Army Church, Horwood, with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9pm and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place at 2pm on Friday, October 14th from the Salvation Army Citadel, Horwood with interment to follow at the old Salvation Army Cemetery. Donations in Isabel's memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery fund, Horwood.
