Edith Janette Hart passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 while surrounded by her loved ones at North Haven Manor in Lewisporte, at the age of 72.

Edith was predeceased by her daughter: Geraldine, parents: Ralph and Winnie Ginn, in-laws: Samuel & Fern Hart, sister: Elise, brother: Eugene, nieces, Dolly & Crystal Ginn and Ashley Nichol.

Left to mourn with many fond and loving, memories are her husband Edward of 56 years; sons, Alvin (Barb), Everett (Lisa), Lorin (Karen) and her daughter Vanessa.

She will be deeply missed by her grandsons: Nathan, Andrew, Carson, Travis and Logan, granddaughters; Faith and Chloe, great grandson Jackson.

As well as her brothers, Albert (Jacqueline), Harold (Mary), sisters; Marion (Ray), Wavey (Ken), Dale (Terry), brothers-in-law; Granville (Wavey), Harry, Leonard, Sister-in-laws: Louise, Della and Viola.

Edith also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and someone very special to her was Susan and Dwayne Hodder.

Visitation will take place on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm for family and close friends. Funeral service will take place from Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte on Sunday, at 11 am and will remain private to the family. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Horwood.

Flowers accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
