Scott Kinden Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Scott Kinden of Baytona announce his passing on Friday, July 26, 2024 at The Lewisporte Health Centre in his 80th year. Scott was born in Stag Harbour on August 3, 1944 a son of the late Matthew and Bessie ( nee Coish) Kinden.


Leaving to cherish many memories are his wife Marie (nee Pope) of 55 years; and their three children Cynthia (Greg) Hawbolt, Melanie (Ryan Jackson) Payne and Terry (Jackie); seven precious grandchildren, Christopher (Carly), Laura (Sean), Makayla (Cole), Jesse, Alyssa, Kathryn and Luke along with his two treasured great-grandchildren Melina and Elias.


Scott will be lovingly remembered by his three sisters Verna Newell, Linda (Roy) Ginn, Velma (Tony Wells) Clarke and his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. In Addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his baby brother Eugene.


Visitation will take place from Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle in Birchy Bay on Monday, July 29th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 1pm with interment to follow at Beacon Pentecostal Cemetery.


As expression of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to the Cemetery Fund.
