It is with great sadness the family of the late Henry Vaters announce his passing on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn are his wife Betty, children Beverly (Gerald), Annette (Glen), Collin (Michelle) and his four stepchildren and their spouses. He will be lovingly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; three brothers Eugene (Ruth), Joe ( Marie) and Bill and Sheila and daughter-in-law Dorothy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Henry was pre-deceased by his parents George and Emily Vaters of Swift Current, his first wife Melvie, sons Rex and Gordon; daughter Gloria, as well as his brothers Walter, Jim and Mark and sisters Evelyn and Gladys. Henry was a very kind and considerate man who always thought of others before himself. He loved being in the woods and every tree was special to him. His buddy was his old quad. He also spent much time at his cabin until his condition prevented him from doing so. Henry loved the Lord and has now gone to meet him and his family members.” Gloria, I know you are very happy now”. Until we meet again, you are loved and will never be forgotten. Resting at Riverside Pentecostal Church in Glenwood with visitation on Thursday from 2 - 4pm and 7 -9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, March 14th,2025 at 1pm with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Cemetery fund.
