It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Albert Foss on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander at the age of 83 years.

Albert was predeceased by his son Paul Foss, Grandson Kenney Wareham, Parents: Dorothy and Samuel Foss, Parents-in-law Myrtle and William Cole, Brother Jim Foss and sister Ida Troake

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife Bernice, children Roy (Cindy) Foss, Sheila (Bax) Wareham, Peter (Lori) Foss, Daughter-in-law Jody Foss.

Six Grandchildren; Ashley, Jordan, Terri-lynn, Courtney, Kaylie and Victoria; Seven Great Grandchildren, Reese, Grayson, Bentley, Aidan, Alex, Ella and Chloe.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Stanley (Juanita) Foss, Victor (Debbie) Foss, his sisters Hazel (Arthur) Hill and Ruth (John) Sallans: Brothers and sisters-in-law Roy (Triffie) Cole, Bruce (Brenda) Cole, Tony (Jessie) Cole, Joyce Bowes, Daphne Colbourne, Alverta Foss, Nelson Troake, as well as many nieces and nephews relatives and friends.

Albert was born in Salt Pond on June 22nd, 1941. He met Bernice, the love of his life, and they married on January the 3rd 1966. Together they raised a family of four.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 14th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 15th, from Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Embree with internment to follow at the Community Cemetery Embree.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Albert’s memory to South and Central Health Foundation (Cancer unit).
