Obituary of Edward (Roy) Gosse

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Edward (Roy) James Gosse at the age of 59 on March 16, 2025 at Grand Prairie Regional Hospital in Alberta. Roy and Wanda Lived in Little Burnt Bay and raised their two children Nathanial and Ethan whom he loved more than anything. He worked long hours many spent away from the family to provide and give them a good life. Being away he never missed a phone call or missed saying “I Love You” always showing his love and affection for his family. We will miss this and cherish those precious memories forever. Leaving to cherish many memories are his loving wife of 22 years Wanda; two precious children, Nathanial (Brittany Pike) and Ethan; siblings, Sarah (Bill) Hamilton, Job (Theresa) Harris, Wayne Harris, Gerald (Vera) Harris, pearl Harris, (Burkley Christopher), Jessie Gosse, Ethel Gosse (Brian Murray) Susie Gosse and Tommy (Colleen) Gosse. Roy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his parents-in-law, Arthur and Judy Luff; brother-in-law Arthur Luff, sisters-in-law, Cavill (Wade) Randell, Wendy (George) Noseworthy and Tammy Luff. As we as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Sarah Gosse; brothers, Clarence and Rick Harris and his sister-in-law Delilah Harris. The family would like to thank the staff of Grand Prairie Regional Hospital for the care given to Roy during his stay. As well the family, friends, co-workers and especially his sister-in-law Tammy for all the visits, laughter and the meals provided did not go unnoticed. Special thanks to all the love and kindness shown to us at home from family and friends during this difficult time. Family will be receiving family and friends on Friday from 7-9pm from Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29th, at 12 noon with a reception to follow. Donations may be made in Roy’s Memory to assist the family during this difficult time.
