Christine,Georgina,Norma & Shawn.It is hard to find the many words to describe such a remarkable man.I am sure you have tons of memories both happy and sad ,that you will find comfort in the days and months ahead.I was so honored to have him step in and walked me down the isle, a wonderful memory I will always hold dear to my heart.Thoughts and Prayers Love Mabel

Norma, Christine, Georgina, Shawn & families, Nothing I can say will take away the pain you are feeling. I just want you to know that I care about you, and I share in your sadness with the loss of your precious Dad. May you look back on your precious memories and find peace in knowing that your father raised an amazing family. I had the pleasure of meeting your Mom & Dad during their trips to Ontario. My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Foot. Mr. Foot was my neighbor in Lewisporte before he moved to Grandfalls. He always had a smile for me, a friendly wave or a cheerful hello. When I would leave to go see my mama, he would say, "Oh you're leaving?... when will you be back?" We spent many hours sitting out in sunshine chatting, about nothing in particular, just enjoying each other's company. Sometimes I would play music for him & he would tap his foot and look at me and smile. I missed him when he moved to Grandfalls but had hopes of seeing him again one day. He was a wonderful person & I'm sure anyone who had the pleasure to know him, will never forget him. My heart hurts for you all. RIP Mr Foote...You will be missed.
