Obituary of George Eric Norris

It is with great sadness the family of George Eric Norris announce his passing at his home in Embree on March 30th,2025 at the age of 69. George was predeceased by his parents Obediah and Violet Norris. He leaves to mourn his sister Marilyn (Derek) and his brothers Reg and Bob (Sylvie). He also leaves to mourn his nephews; Jonathon, Michael, Dustin and Kyle; He will be lovingly remembered by a large circle of family and friends. George was born in Port Aux Basques. He spent most of his years as a self -employed certified electrician and garage door repairer and installer. Everyone who knew George, knew him as a kind and gentle soul. He was always there and willing to drop anything he was doing to help others. George lived a fulfilling Christian Life. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation taking place on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7th at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle in Lewisporte at 1pm with interment to follow at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Cemetery.
