It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of our beloved Stephen (Pedro) who passed away on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s surrounded by his loving family.
Stephen Edwards, age 32 of Little Burnt Bay will be forever loved and missed by his two precious children Jake and Mya; loving wife Jess; parents Terry and Jackie and his only sister Heather (Sean).
He will be deeply missed by his parents-in-law Shawn and Madeline Freake, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Shain) Anstey, Justin (Tiffany) Freake, Jamie Freake and Julia Richards, as well as his nieces and nephews; Larkin, Damien, Morgan, Madison, Isabelle, Jesse, Lauren, Hayley and Aiden. He will also be lovingly missed by a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
The family extends a special thanks to his Nephrologist Dr. Sean Martin and the numerous ICU nurses and staff at the Health Science Centre.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 10th at the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Little Burnt Bay from 7 to 9pm and on Friday, April 11th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
Please note: The funeral service will take place at Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Embree on Saturday, April 12th at 1pm with interment to follow at the community cemetery in Little Burnt Bay.
