Obituary of Derek Raymond Moyles

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Derek Raymond Moyles of Lewisporte at the age of 69. Derek was predeceased by his parents William and Dorcas Moyles. Leaving to cherish his memory are his loving wife Hilda Moyles; his three stepchildren Vanessa (Tony) Anstey, Amanda(Stephen) Macdonald and Cory (Kimberly) Baker. He will be forever loved and missed by his two grandchildren Hunter and Erica and his fur baby Chippy. Also leaving to mourn is a large circle of family and friends. He will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, public visitation will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral service will be held at Families Funeral Home on Friday, May 16,2025 at 2pm with interment to follow at St. Matthew's United Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the St Matthew's United Church cemetery fund.
