It is with deep sadness the family of Mary King announce her passing at the age of 92 years. Mary passed peacefully on Monday, June 23rd, 2025 at the Lewisporte Health Centre with her family by her side.

She was predeceased by her husband Bert, sons; Walter, Jody and Bill and her many brothers and sisters.

She will be forever missed and loved by her children; Julie (Leonard) Dawe, Sheila (Ted) Feltham, Maude (Dennis) Hoffe, Rick, John, Betty (Fred) Thorne, Peggy (Sam) Hill, Brian and daughter-in-law Dale. She will be dearly missed by her 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the staff of North Haven Manor in Lewisporte for the past four and a half years of love and care.

Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 27th, at 2pm from the Salvation Army Church in Lewisporte. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Church Cemetery.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Building Fund .
