Extending my heartfelt condolences to Olive's nine children and extended families. Having grown up on Young Street next door to the Fudge's, the older kids were my friends and some have remained so today. When I was standing in the porch, waiting for someone to walk to school with or play outside, it seemed Olive was always standing at the stove with a spoon in her hand. I have seen Olive occasionally over the years and she was always lovely and still youthful, despite her age. I know you all adored your mom and will miss her very much. Thinking of everyone. Shirley and the Fudge family. Saddened to read this today. Your mom and dad were lifelong friends. From Young St to Stanhope road. They were the best farmers, growing onion and carrot better than anyone else could ever do. I especially remember your mom on Young St. Standing in front of the stove, cooking.
