Passed Peacefully away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre – Grand Falls - Windsor at the age of 60 years. Karen Gates of Norris Arm South was born and raised in Toronto, ON.

Karen was predeceased by her father Ronald and nephew Jordan.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her mother, Shirley; loving spouse of 21 years Allan; sister Debbie (Scott) Sahanatien; brother Allan (Jana).

She will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, Sheldon, Trevor and Devin and her nieces, Ryley and Kristyn.

Her stepchildren Erica, Andrew and Patricia; sister-in-law Donna Brubacher and her children, Brendon (Katie) and Amy (Chris), as well as many other relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place with service and interment to remain private to the family.
