Edgar Donald Secviour-Passed peacefully away on January 12th, 2026. at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor at the well lived age of 92 years.

Edgar was a hard-working family man who spent his working life as a logger and carpenter. After he finished working, he spent years building sleds and swings in his shed. The last few years he was caring for his wife Rita of 68 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Bessie: sisters, Frances, Georgie, Nina, Muriel and Myrtle, Brothers: Bruce, Harvey, Gerald and Cyril.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his dear wife Rita and his daughters, Gilda, Lillian (Alex) and Son Truman (Barbara); his grandchildren Cassandra (Tim), Charlene (Cordell) Stephen (Christian), Brian (Alraye), Christopher (Tina), Mark (Tracie); great-grandchildren Kyle, Nathan, Andrew, Caleb, Charlotte. His brother Stan (Terri) and his sister Madeline, also sisters-in-law Pauline, Gertie and Bonnie.

Edgar will always be remembered for his smile and laughter.

Visitation will take place on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Laurenceton Pentecostal Tabernacle. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations to the Bethel Pentecostal cemetery fund or the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls- Windsor, NL will be gratefully accepted.
