It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Melvin Thomas Randell of Little Burnt Bay at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL on March 19th, 2026 at the age of 84 years.

Melvin was the son of the late Andrew and Jessie Randell.

Leaving to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years Donna, sons; Steven (Tina) and Brian (Terri-Ann); three grandchildren; Logan (Maissey), Paige (Kyle)and Megan (Brendan); great-grandson Tate. He will be deeply missed by his brother Baxter (Dolly) and sister Josephine (Scott) Ball, as well as his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large circle of friends.

In addition to his parents, Melvin was also predeceased by his brothers; Carl and Harvey, nieces; Kimberly, Vicki-Lynn and his great-niece Victoria.

Resting at the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Little Burnt Bay with visitation to take place on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A funeral service will follow on Monday at 1 pm with interment at the community cemetery in Little Burnt Bay.
