Alonzo Goodyear-passed away suddenly on Tuesday October 27,2015, at the age of 74 years. He was predeceased by his wife Dora; parents Marjorie and Theophilus Goodyear. Leaving to treasure his memory: his sons; Dennis (Diane), Shawn (Michelle), Daughter; Sheri (Gough)Wellon; grandchildren: Brandon, Emma, and Jack Goodyear; special friend Linda Combden; Brother: Lute (June) Goodyear; sisters: Mena Abbott, Donna Parsons, Byril (Randy) White, and Flo (Wallace) Grey; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home 9 Forward Drive in Lewisporte,on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11am at St.Matthews United Church, with interment to follow at the United Cemetery in Lewisporte. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Autism Society.
