The passing of Vera Gwennie White, wife of the late Donald M. White, occurred peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Paradise Villa in New Brunswick. Born on November 14, 1927 in Musgravetown, NL, she was the younger daughter of the late Adjutant Samuel and Captain Elizabeth Ford (nee Dawe), of the Salvation Army Church.

Vera is survived by her sister, Dorothy Ford; daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Warr (Donald); sons, Ralph White, Roger White, Carl White (Marina), Duncan White (Susan) and Darroch White (Tamara); grandchildren, Catherine VanEsbroeck (Jeremy), Aaron Warr, Jillian Warr, April White (Paul), Ashley White, Michael White (Shinyoung), Edward White and Melanie White; great- grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Nicole VanEsbroeck; daughter-in-laws, Evone White and Barbara Fudge and extended family, Edward and Dorothy Slaney.

Upon her request cremation has taken Place, Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12 o’clock with interment to follow at 2pm in St. Matthew’s United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of the ones choice.
