Gladys Elizabeth Pardy (nee Wheeler) passed peacefully away in Gander at the James Paton Memorial Hospital on Sunday August 17, 2014 at the age of 83 years.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories is her husband of 62 years, Frederick; her sons, Gerald (Christine), Larry (Patricia), and her daughter Gloria (Tolson) Chaulk.

Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren; Chuck (Faith), Andrea (Jonathon) Reid, Michael and Gloria; her beloved great-grandchildren, Grace and Elliot; sisters, Pearl (William) Freake, and Joyce Gilbert) Layte, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families First Funeral Home, 9 forward Drive, Lewisporte on Monday from 7-9pm, and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Funeral service to take place on Wednesday from St. Matthews United Church in Lewisporte at 2:30pm. Interment to follow from St. Matthews United Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House.
