Donna, Terri and Family words can not express your loss My first memories of Jerry was him driving his 1968 Barracuda 340, I can still remember the rumble of the engine even today. We became great friends and it was a great family adventure. Jerry will be missed, I respected him and it was a great honour to know him. My heart is with you all at this sad time. Uncle Jerry did more for my family then I will every realize I am sure.... He was a brother in law to my parents but more then that a dear friend and pal. My dad (Sid) had wonderful memories of Uncle Jerry, whether it was "going out the bay" or emptying their wine skins going up Noel Pauls Steady. These wonderful memories will always bring a smile to my Dad's face. For myself and my sister (Sarah) our memories are very different but still very much joyful and never to be forgotten. Whether it was getting our one cent candies at the Irving or the welcoming home, like a second set of parents. Uncle Jerry was terrific and the best uncle. My Mom (Dallas) will remember the cooked dinner at Nan Porters house when Uncle Jerry and Sid would see who could eat the most...if any of you know the size of my Dad you would think there was no competition, however I'm told Uncle Jerry managed to eat 5 plates of dinner and out ate everyone! And with shock and surprise he ate all that food without ketchup! So we sit here in BC, so far away and with heavy hearts we cannot be there, we will raise a glass of lambs and have a drink to you Uncle Jerry. Rest easy.
