Maud Bursey Obituary

Alma Maud Bursey of Embree passed peacefully away on Thursday, February 5, 2015, with her family at her side, at North Haven Manor in Lewisporte at the age of 93 years.


She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Virtue Randell and was predeceased by her husband Chesley (on June 28, 2014) and sister Dulcie and Daughter in law Ruby.


She leaves to mourn 6 children: Gary (Brenda), Scott (Verma), Mary-Lou (Rick) Foss, Kevin (Patsy), Brian (Brenda), Roy (Pauline); 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Families funeral home on Saturday from 2-4pm 7-9pm and on Sunday and Monday from Glad Tidings Pentecostal Tabernacle,in Embree from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday February 10,2015 at 2:00pm with interment to follow at the community cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
