Gosse- Calvin George of Lewisporte passed peacefully away on Saturday April 25, 2015 at the Lewisporte Health Center at the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late Sidney and Mabel Gosse. Calvin was predeceased by: brother David Ross Gosse and half brother Doyle Sansome. Leaving to mourn with fond and cherished memories: children: Earl Gosse, Sidney (Dallas), and Eileen (Gerald) Chatman; seven grandchildren: Michael and Richard Gosse, Sherri Holmes, Sarah Wheeler, Kristen Scott, Shane Chatman, and Chelsea Forsyth; ten great-grandchildren: Sydney, Carrie, Haley and D.J Gosse, Jaylie and Rebecca Holmes, Kadience , Ryleigh and Brynn Wheeler, and Bella Scott. Also leaving to mourn: sister Lila (Donald) Huxter and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, Lewisporte on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at 1:00 p.m from Families Funeral Home. Upon Calvin’s request cremation will follow with interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the South and Central Health Foundation.
