Zebedee Mews passed peacefully away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the North Haven Manor in Lewisporte at the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Walter and Johanna Mews and was predeceased by his daughter Donna Nippard, grandson Louis and his brother Alex. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: wife Frances; four children: Marilyn (Derrick) Hoddinott, Mary (Chris) Potter, Debbie (Barry) Sheppard, and Stirling (Sharon); twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Also leaving to mourn two brothers Peter (Hersey) and Maxwell (Jean), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, with visitation to take place on Tuesday, July 7th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Lewisporte, on Wednesday July 8th at 2:00pm with interment to follow at the Community Cemetery, Embree.
