Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 3, 2017, Neil Porter of Porterville, in his 79th year.  He was predeceased by his parents Robert George and Lydia and his daughter Sherry Aucoin (Gary). Neil leaves to mourn Vera, his loving wife of 52 years; sons Bob (Shelley) and Trevor (Danielle); grandchildren Jonathan, Stephen, Benjamin, Timothy, Jeremy (Hope), Jeffrey (Chelsea), Michael, Thomas and Lydia; great grandchildren Jack, Anna, Peyton and Deacon; siblings Bruce (Louise), Marion Forsey, Beth (Clayton) Gillingham and Roger (Ina) as well as a large number of friends and relatives.

Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation to take place on Saturday November 4th from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday November 5th, at 2 pm from St. Matthew’s United Church in Lewisporte, with interment to follow at Porterville Cemetery
