Sheila & Family. We were saddened by the news that Lon was so ill. Then u patiently did your Angelical will of looking out for Lon. You both were really as one. God apparently needs Lon up there now, that's not an easy sharing but I'm sure he'll look out for U from there. He is forever in the heart of so many. Ok babbling now. Aunt Sheila & All of My Family Back Home:
My heart breaks to know that someone so special to all of us was taken way too soon. I wish so much that I could be home with you all right now. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you. Uncle Lon was so courageous through his battle with ALS. I will treasure every memory that I have of him and thank God daily that I had the opportunity to come home this summer and spend time with him. I am happy that he is no longer suffering. His unwavering faith in God through all of this has been such an inspiration. Not once did I ever hear him ask “why me?” Instead I heard him say “everything is in God’s hands”. Well now he is in God’s presence.
Aunt Sheila I know this has been a rough road for you, and no doubt will continue to be for a while. Hold onto every memory knowing that he is in a better place. You were his angel on earth. No one could have taken better care of him in the last few months then you did.
He will be greatly missed!
