Obituary of Onslow Day

Onslow Day of Browns Arm passed peacefully away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, infant daughter Florence, daughter Josephine, son Morris; brothers: Charl, Gilbert, Albert, Clyde, Harvey; sister: Anne, Bessie, and Leah. 

Leaving to cherish his memory his children: Rose (Terry) Nicholas, Wayne (Elaine), Diane (Patrick) Fleming, Dale (Gordon); grandchildren: Laura, Linda, Karen, Rodney, Tanya, Julie, Terry, Natasha, Nikki and Shane; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

 Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive in Lewisporte with visiting hours on Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday April 23, at 2pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Lewisporte.

 Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Lewisporte.  Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund
