Frances Mews- passed peacefully away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale at the age of 79 years. She was the Daughter of Lemont and Idelia Sheppard Stag Harbour. Predeceased by her husband Zebedee, daughter: Donna Nippard; grandson: Louis Osmond; and her sister Olive Sheppard and brother John Sheppard.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: four children: Marilyn (Derrick) Hoddinott, Mary (Chris) Potter, Debbie (Barry) Sheppard, and Sterling (Sharon); twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren three sisters; Joan Wheaton, Amelia (David) Nichol, and Rosalind (Colin) Weir, Many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, with visitation to take place on Saturday, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Lewisporte, on Sunday Dec 27th at 1:00pm with interment to follow at the Community Cemetery, Embree.
