Raymond Hodder of Stoneville passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, on Saturday, August 31, 2019, in the presence of his loving family, at the age of 78 years.

He was predeceased by his loving daughter Wanda Hodder. Leaving to cherish his memory: his loving wife Effie of 59 years, children: Oliver (Paulette); Woodrow (Shelley), Rodney (Bonnie), Diane (Stuart) Reid, Dwight (Carolyn), Dexter (Cheryl), Dana (Lisa); son- in- law, Eric Hodder; 10 grandchildren: Leon, Lenore, Matthew, Melanie, Ryan, Rebecca, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, Amber and Carter; great- grandchildren: Kaiden, Kassidy, Emma, Dawson, and Ellie; sisters-in-law Evelyn Kinden and Mary Hodder; brothers, Gerald (Joy) Hodder, Wayne Hodder, Alonzo (Marie) Hodder, sisters, Winnie (Freeman) Bennett, Isabel (Alex) Paynter, Marilyn (Hector) Earle, Roxanne (Monty) Norman, Doreen (Samer) Stephan; many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his daughter he was predeceased by his parents, Garfield and Annie Hodder, and brothers, Eugene Hodder and Scott Kinden

Resting at the Pentecostal Church in Stoneville, with visitation on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2pm, with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Stoneville

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice. 

Arrangements are under the care of Families Funeral Home.
