Bennett (Ben) Nicholas- Passed Peacefully away on Friday January 15, 2016 at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, Grandfalls Windsor at the age of 84 years. He was predeceased by his wife Ella Marie Nicholas, and infant son Garry, Parents: Samuel and Mary Ellen; Brothers: Robert and David; and sister Viola; Brothers in Law: Cliff Fifield, and Scott Callahan Left with fond and loving memories: his sons: Terry (Rose), Maurice (Maisie), Larry (Julie), and Rick (Debbie); Daughters: Pamela (Marvin) King, Patricia Nicholas, Cindy (Roger) Walker; Grandchildren: Laura, Linda, Wade, Dwayne, Stephen, Jessica, Chad, Brandon, Matthew, Ashlee, Andrew, Rebecca, Sarah, and Cody; 11 great grandchildren; Sisters: Helen (Gordon) Woodford, Emma Callahan, June (Hubert) Vatcher, Loretta Fifield; and brother: Pearce (Prudence) Nicholas; sisters in law: Shirley and Gloria Nicholas, and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Families funeral home 9 Forward Drive, Lewisporte with visitation to take place on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday from St. Matthews United Church in Lewisporte at 2pm with interment to follow at the United Cemetery in Lewisporte.
