I am very sad to have just learned of Johns' passing.
John and I worked many hours together decades ago at 'Gander Aeradio' I will always remember him as a kind, lighthearted, and well respected gentleman with a great sense of humour and an avid flair for writing. (the Piccosville Packet). I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of Johns family. RIP

Sincere condolences to the family of late John Earle. I worked with John at Gander flight services and found him to be a very
pleasant, very informative person. He was a prolific writer and had a little inhouse newspaper for awhile that was hilarious. Rest in Peace John.

I was so fortunate to have met John when I became President of the Rod and Gun Club many years ago, He was the Secretary for the Club at the time. An amazing Gentleman and a very entertaining writer. His minutes always set the mood for our meetings. John was always calm and in his quiet way kept us all focused. I admired his sense of humor, his humbleness, his common sense and his broad knowledge on many many subjects. He was interesting and entertaining. A genuine person and friend. He will be missed.
Judy and I send our sincere condolences to Sylvia and all the Earle family.

Sylvia, we are thinking of you and all the family, and sending our deepest condolences to you. John was a wonderful person, a real pleasure to visit. I will always remember the walks around the pond and the pennies he dropped to count his treks around the walkway. Deepest sympathy to you.

Personally and on behalf of the Notre Dame Rod and Gun Club I would like to share our condolences to Sylvia and all the family on the passing of a special man and friend. John was on our executive and served as Secretary for may years. He always had a smile, a story and a great sense of humour! At each meeting the highlight was the reading of the minutes where John would take the dull recording of the last meeting and make it into an extremely funny piece of entertainment! He was a true gentleman and will be deeply missed by all. So long friend - we'll miss you!

Sylvia and family, so sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked many years on the CCG. Lighthouses on the Northeast Coast & had daily 'radio contact' with John at Comfort Cove Coast Guard Radio station, with weather / ice reports, marine emergencies, etc. It was ALWAYS a pleasure to hear John's voice on the other end. John will never know how much I enjoyed our wonderful chats on the VHF (when things were quiet) in the middle of the winter, stuck on an isolated lighthouse at day #27 !! He was a good man. Please accept my sincere condolences..... Barry
