Obituary of Audrey Hurley

Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 surrounded by her loving children & their spouses as well as some of her siblings at the age of 79 years.

Audrey Sarah Bernice Hurley was born in Twillingate on September 16, 1940 to the Late: Stanley & Hilda Peckford.

 In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her, husband Raymond, son Ronald, brothers: Reginald, Morley, Bernard, and Wayde. Left to mourn her passing are her  sons: Larry (Lorraine) and Jerome (Brenda); daughters Sheila (Sean) Lyver, Patricia (Rodney) Stuckey and Heather (Donald) Anthony; grandchildren: Reginald & Roger Hurley, Corey & Tyler Lyver, and Sally Lynn & Natasha Anthony; great- grandchildren Lucas & Amelia Hurley, Mitchell & Lily Hurley; Sisters: Elsie Willette, Patricia (James) Currie, Isabel (Elden) Newcomb; brothers, Lloyd (Kathleen) Peckford, Stanley (Bonnie) Peckford and John (Jean) Peckford; sisters-in-Law, Margaret Peckford & Joan Peckford & the Hurley family.

Arrangements are under the care of Families Funeral Home, where visitation will take place on Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday October 8th, at 2 pm from St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Lewisporte, with cremation to follow. Interment will take place on Wednesday at 11 am at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mental Health Research or the Arthritis Society.
