Obituary of Jessie Hilda Manuel

Jessie Hilda Manuel of Norris Arm passed peacefully away at the Golden Years Estate, Grand Falls-Windsor, on Wednesday November 13, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Edwin, son Denny, parents: George and Diana White; sister, Rita White; brother Ronald White; and stepsister Elsie Pelley, and stepbrother, Hedley Chislett.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughters, June (Leslie) Goulding and Joyce (Leo) Attwood; son, Ron; brother Jack (Maria) of Okanagan Valley, B.C.; five grandchildren: Cathy-Manuel-Benoit, Jeffery Goulding, Matthew (Marion) Attwood, Cory (Melissa) Manuel, Mark (Karen) Atwood; nine great grandchildren: Coralee and Candence Benoit, Shailynn and Macayla Goulding, Shania and Steven Attwood, Brieanna, Caylee and Bowen Manuel.

As well, two great- great- grandchildren Ernhart and Amelyn; nieces and nephews other relatives and friends, special friend Olive Goulding.

Special thanks to the management and staff at the Golden Years Estate for the warm welcome and hospitality over the past few weeks.

Arrangements are in the care of Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte.  In keeping with her wishes there will be no public visitation. A private family service will take place on Saturday, November 16^th from Families Funeral Home at 11 AM, with interment to follow at Faith Pentecostal Cemetery in Norris Arm South.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in her memory to the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle Building Fund, Norris Arm South.   

God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, so he closed his arms around you and whispered "come to me".  you didnt deserve what you went through so he gave you a rest.  God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best. And when we saw you sleeping, so peaceful free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer that again.
