Obituary of Tom Payne

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Tom Payne announce his sudden passing at his home on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Tom was predeceased by his loving wife Laura, brothers, Roy and George Payne, his parents, William and Maude Payne. Leaving to cherish his memory his son Dean and daughter Elizabeth (Paul) Hoddinott; one precious granddaughter Bailey; sisters, Ruby (Stewart) Dawe and Netta (Roy) Pomeroy; many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home 9 Forward Drive, Lewisporte with visitation to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2pm from Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Embree, with Pastor Dwayne Mews officiating. Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
