Obituary of Alma Ruth Rowsell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom Alma Ruth Rowsell at the age of 77 years. She passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2020. Alma was born in Salt Pond (Embree) daughter of the late Leonard and Maude Rowsell. Predeceased by her son Tony, sister Gladys, and son in law Randy Cuff. Leaving to cherish her memory: daughters, Cheri, Gwen (James), Jackie (Warren); sons, Wade, and Shane (Cora-Lee); ten grandchildren: Jennifer, Crystal-Lynn, Chris, Brandon (Sarah), Brittany (Matthew), Brady (Destiny), Blake (Savannah), Kelsey, Dakota, and Casey; ten great-grandchildren: Lexi, Michael, Amber, Brooke, Damyan, Khalessi, Scarlett, Wyatt, Jude, Jackson, and Kacie. As well her brothers: Adolph (Velva) Rowsell and Len (Sue) Rowsell; sisters: Gertie (Ivan) Randell, Dolores (Lyle) Drake, and Clarice (Phil) Frazier; as well as a circle of relatives and friends. Arrangements are under the care of Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, where funeral service and Interment will remain private to the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Community Cemetery in Embree, or the Daffodil Place.
