Our Deepest and heartfelt sympathies and prayers To all the Wells connected families. Our hearts grieve with you today , as you grieve the passing of your mother, Grandmother, & Friend. Psalm 46 reads that God is a very PRESENT help in time of trouble.. What a consolation, to know that your Mother, Grandmother and friend is is now in the presence of the Lord. My deepest condolences go out to all Nanny Wells family and friends. As Aunt Lucy's and Aunt Verbena's niece, I was close to nanny when I was little. I got to know her well when visiting Kathy and Doug Card when we lived in Scarborough, Ontario in the early 70's. I felt her love as a child and she was always a part of my heart. I'll always remember her trying to teach me how to crochet when I was about 4 years old...sitting next to her on the couch, she made it look soooo easy. Visiting my Newfoundland family and staying at Aunt Lucy and Uncle Melvin's when I was 17 was an amazing trip and nanny Wells was always full of hugs and kisses! This last trip to Newfoundland in June 2011 was also amazing but we are all getting older and being with nanny then was like my child hood all over again. She never ran out of kisses and hugs. My constant tears then were full of joy just to be with her but also with sadness that years and distance also kept us apart. She will always have a huge place in my heart. I love her so very much! We first met this precious lady when she was a resident at Twilight Manor and later at Kingsway Living. From the very first time we met her she always had a smile and a hug and would alway say, "I love you" and then talk about her love for Jesus. Mrs. Wells was truly a beautiful person and loved the Lord with all her heart !! praise the Lord she is now at home with her Lord and Saviour. Deepest , sincere sympathy to all her family in the loss of your precious loved one. Its not easy losing a Mom at any age..
