Roger Paul Freeman Obituary

It is with broken hearts the family announce the tragic loss of the late Roger Freeman of Norris Arm. He was 51 years of age.


Leaving to mourn with great sadness his loving wife Roxanne, his son Lucas who was his pride and joy; father Frank Freeman; sister Patricia (Cyril) McLaughlin; brothers: Steven (Tonya), and John; father in law, Frederick McDonald; brothers in law: Roger Lambert, and Ryan McDonald; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; other relatives, and countless number of friends; business partner and life long friend, Shawn (Rhonda) Payne.


Roger was predeceased by his mother Shirley, mother in law Bess, grandfather Austin, grandmother Louise, step grandmother Caroline Freeman, and grandparents Susan and Leonard Sheppard.


The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to Roger Goobie, the Exploits Valley Search and Rescue, RCMP, with a very special thanks to Constable Chris Hunter, Mark Hutchings, and all the individuals and numerous groups that provided food and supplies to all those who joined in the search. Thank you to everyone who stood by our side and assisted in any way in Roger’s recovery, we will be forever grateful.


Resting at the Pentecostal church in Norris Arm today from 7:30-9pm, Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday at 2pm with Reverend Larry Chatman officiating.


Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery in Norris Arm.


In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
