It is with great sadness the family of the late Hollis Chesley Pelley of Little Burnt Bay announce his passing on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Health Science Centre, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74 years.

Predeceased by his son Byron; parents Edmond and Elsie Pelley; parents-in-law Herbert and Louise Wells; sister Alletta (Willis) Pelley, brother Pearce (Marie), and brother-in-law Sam Elliott.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife Betty (Nee Wells); three children, Brenda, Barry (Vivian), Bonnie (Derek) Walsh; grandchildren: Vivian, Justin, Brandon, Bryanna, Patrick, and Shiann; great grandchildren: Alaina, Tatumn, Nora, Kenlee, and Keegan; brothers and sisters, Lloyd (Irene), Lorraine (Larry) Baker, Joan (Wayne), Pearl Elliott, Charles (Dulcie), Carrie (Mervin) Wells, Hilda (Derek) Moyles, and Ralph (Irene); many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte on Wednesday, from 6-9pm (Following Covid 19 Guidelines and Recommendations). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 1 pm from the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Little Burnt Bay by invitation only. Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery in Little Burnt Bay.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Janeway Foundation.
