Barrie D. Decker Obituary

Barrie Decker -Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at his home in Campbellton on June 1st, 2021, at the age of 62 years. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Anne Decker, brother George and sister-in-law Mary Adams.


Leaving to cherish his memory are his two children, Erin (Paul Regular) Decker and Dylan (Karen Kennedy); siblings: Earle (Toby), Della (Ewen) Whiteway; Wayne (Lori) Kent (Coleen); Jeremy (Lillian); Linda (Len) Brown; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends; along with his fur baby Molly.


Barrie was retired from the Royal Canadian Navy after serving 25 years. He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Campbellton Fire Department. He dearly loved the great outdoors, enjoyed boating, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.


Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Wednesday, from 2-4pm (Following Covid 19 Restrictions). Funeral service will take place from Families Funeral Home on Thursday and remain private to the family. Cremation will follow the service and interment will take place at a later date.


Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Centre.
