Obituary of Mary Ann Harris

Mary Ann Harris, passed peacefully away into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 at The Dr. Albert O’Mahony Memorial Manor at the age of 91 years. Mary was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, the daughter of the late Chesley and Blanche Mugford.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son Lloyd; son Wayne, siblings Levi(Dot), Frank, John(Carrie), Trixie(James), Emily (Stewart), Julie (Fred).
Leaving to cherish her memory is Lloyd, her husband of 68 years, her children: Ruth (Gene), and Daughter-in-law (Ivy), her grandchildren: Glory (Bruno), Lloyd (Nicole), Danielle (Marc), Dustin (Tasha) and great grandchildren: Nicholas, Jayden, Renée, Hannah, Mackenzie, and Jaxson, a large circle of nieces and nephews, and wealths of cherished friends.
Mary lived her life devoted deeply to her family and friends, and was happiest when the kitchen was full of people, food, and laughter. She enjoyed her time volunteering at North Haven Manor and at the United Church as part of the UCW. Mary dearly loved animals of all kinds, but her pride and joy was in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her kindness and presence will be missed by all who knew her.
In Keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A service will take place at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, on Monday, July 26. 2021 at 11 am for invited guest only. Interment will follow at St. Matthew’s United Cemetery in Lewisporte. In Lieu of flowers donations maybe made in her memory to the SPCA or the Children's Wish Foundation
May the winds of Heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you here. We can no longer see you with our eyes, touch you with our hands, but we will feel you in our hearts forever.
