Obituary of Ruth Marshall

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Marshall on Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at James Paton Memorial Hospital at the age of 68 years. Ruth was born in Embree on May 7th, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Phyllis Sheppard. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Quincy and Terry Sheppard. Leaving to cherish her memory are her loving husband Winston, three daughters, Sherry (Jason) Davis, Renee Marshall, and Karla (C.J.) Thistle; five precious grandchildren: Amber, Nicholas, Codi, Brady, Skylar; siblings: Shirley (Nelson) Pelley, Audrey (Alonzo) Baker, Joan Sheppard, Nola Ledrew, Donna (Woodrow) Hale, Elmo (Donna) Sheppard, David (Sandra) Sheppard; brothers in law, Boyd (Agnes) Marshall and Vaden (Debbie) Marshall. She leaves behind a large circle of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Monday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Riverside Pentecostal Church in Glenwood on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 1pm, with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Glenwood. As expressions of sympathy flowers or memorial donations may be made to assist the family.
