Doris Jeanette Porter passed peacefully away Sunday, August 15th, 2021, at Lakeside Homes in Gander at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Daisy Tetford, siblings: Flossie Baker, John Tetford, Sebly Tetford & Ruby Dawe.

Leaving to cherish her memory is her husband Marshall Porter; children, Truman (Jean) Porter, Marie (Dean) Cassell, Karen (Barry) Rideout; beloved grandchildren, Chad (Simone) Porter, Carla Porter, Danica (John) Hutchings. Along with her great-grandchildren that she completely adored (Austin, Noah, Ryver, Ryker & James). And her siblings Edna Baker, Ralph (Olive) Tetford, Reginald (Ruth) Tetford, Elsie (Wilfred) Langdon, Sylvia Purchase, Stella (George) Tiller; as well as the extended family; Brown’s Arm Church family & a large circle of wonderful friends.

Resting at Maranatha Pentecostal Church in Browns Arm, visitation will take place on Tuesday, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 18th at 2pm (invitation only) with internment to follow at the United Cemetery in Porterville.
