Passed away peacefully at James Paton Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, September 19th, 2021, in the presence of his wife and children. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Martha; sister and brother-in-law, Daphne and Wayne Loder; brother-in-law, Gerald Hewitt; father-in-law, Hilary Parsons; brother-in-law, Rick Parsons. Left to mourn with love and fond memories wife, Shirley; son Albert; daughter Susan (Greg Watkins); sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Myles Tremblett; sister, Dorothy Hewitt; mother-in-law, Vivian Parsons; brother-in-law, Hilary Parsons; as well as a wide circle of friends and extended family. Clarence worked for 33 years as a Forestry Wildlife Officer in Lewisporte. With a passion for the outdoors, Clarence enjoyed fishing, hunting, and exploring many parts of Newfoundland and Labrador. Missed forever as a husband, father, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Clar is best remembered for his kind demeanor, humor, infectious laugh and love for his family and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, with visitation on Tuesday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place at St. Matthews United church in Lewisporte on Wednesday at 2pm for invited guest only (Due to Covid 19 Restrictions). In Lieu of flowers donations will be given to the Kids Eat Smart Breakfast Program at Lewisporte Academy.
