Blanche Butt (Holmes) passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 91 years.

Blanche was born in Seldom, on June 13, 1930, daughter of the late Clementina & Leonard Nichol.

In addition to her parents, Blanche was predeceased by her first husband of 52+ years, Joyce Holmes, and her second husband of 16 years, Raymond Butt; her in-laws; her siblings Donald Nichol, Lewis (Mildred) Nichol, Barbara (Walter) Bixby, Winnie (Ananias) Nichol, Ethel (Wilfred) Reddicks, Mildred (Jack) Rowe; brother in law Martin Head.

Leaving with many cherished memories are her children; Gordon (Monnie), Randolph (Ida), Evelyn (Joanne), Darlene (Alvin), Paul; and sister, Ruby Head; 5 Grandchildren: Cyndi (Sheldon), Kathy (Martin), Randy, Tiffanee, and Colton.

5 Great grandchildren- Jessica, Mitchel, Sam, Luca, and Cason. as well as a large circle of other relatives and Friends.

Visitation will take place from Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, on Tuesday, Feb 15, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 1:00 pm at Philadelphia Pentecostal Church, Lewisporte, NL. (to make reservations please visit www.pptl.ca). Please have your Vaxpass ready. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Lewisporte.
