The family regrets to announce the peaceful passing of our Mother and Grandmother, Althea Millicent Wells (Nee Freake), who passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Lewisporte Health Care Centre, at the age of 93 years.

She was predeceased by her Husband Wesley, and brother Leonard. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sheila (Douglas) Purchase, Terry (Valarie), Scott (Linda), and Gerald (Rita); eight grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; three brothers: Garland (Eileen) Freake, Eli (Pam) Freake, and Douglas (Myrtle) Freake; sister Eva (Joe) Leyte, and other relatives and friends.

Resting at Wings Point Pentecostal Church with visitation on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, a celebration of her life will take place on Sunday May 22, at 2pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Horwood.

Donations in appreciation of her memory may be made to the Salvation Army or Pentecostal Cemetery in Horwood.
