Obituary of Rosa Lilian Quinlan

Please share a memory of Rosa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Her life’s work complete, our precious Mom went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the age of 95 years. We, her children and grandchildren are mourning but also have precious memories of her in our hearts. Cherishing her memory are Hazel Perry, Josephine (Howard) Dicks, Max (Debbie), Ted (Mildred), Eleanor (Allister) White, Gary (Dona), Debbie (Rod) Humby, Lori (Lyndon) Stratton; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Leonard, baby granddaughter Carolyn Perry and son-in-law Ross G. Perry. Together with her husband, they raised their 8 children in Campbellton, where they were faithful members of Full Gospel Tabernacle. She faithfully, lovingly, and happily carried out her part in raising her children and trusted God to do the rest. Her life’s motto was “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Following the death of our father, she moved to Nova Scotia to live with her daughter, Debbie. She quickly made friends with people in the neighborhood and was part of Lifesong Christian Church in Lower Sackville. At the age of 70, she volunteered at the local food Bank to help those in need. Her greatest joy was her family. She travelled from coast to coast throughout the year to be with them. She loved watching the hockey game and was a Toronto Maple Leaf fan for life. The past 5 years were spent at Pleasantview Manor, where she was loved and cared for. We are deeply saddened and broken-hearted by her passing; but we do have hope. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Campbellton from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Women’s Ministries Department at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Campbellton. .
