Mildred Wells passed peacefully away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, in Grand Falls- Windsor at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her parents Sidney and Carrie Peckford, husband Norman, brother-in-law Eldred Strong and niece Karen Diamond.

Leaving to cherish her memory are her children, Barry (Sherry), Brian (Kathy), Beverly (Craig) Randell, and Bonnie (Rod Dyke); grandchildren: Nicole Wells, Chantille Wells, Jasmine Earle, Chelsea Randell, Samantha Randell, Joshua Randell and Shannon Snow; five great-grandchildren, Tatumn and Nora Wells, Gage and Cade Wells and Elias Earle.

She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Rayfield (Ivy) Peckford, Rosie (Stan) Hiscock, Eileen Strong, and Bruce (Denise) Peckford; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Friday, from 7-9pm and Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 2pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Lewisporte. Interment to follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree.
