Charlene, Jason and Shane: I am so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. I only just found out and immediately wanted to offer you my condolences. Brenda was an amazing person. So active in the community, she was always ready to give of her time and energy to help in so many ways. I remember the times we played together growing up; it was an absolute pleasure to have you and your Mom and Dad as neighbours. I remember your mom laughing all the time. She was always ready to have a chuckle with someone. What a dear lady she was.
I hope you can find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of your mother and by knowing that your mother touched so many people’s lives. I will miss her very much.

Guy, I met you at North Haven Manor when my Mom,Frances Powell was a resident there.I only met your wife,Brenda a couple of times at Tim’s when I was there with my sister, Carolyn. But I do remember her as being very friendly and full of life. I can only imagine how difficult it was for you watching her suffer, losing her vibrancy and moving further away from you. But may you reflect on the wonderful memories you have of her.I offer you my sincere condolences on her passing.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of your loved one. Brenda was such a wonderful person with a great sense of humour. She would light up any room with her infectious smile and laugher. I will cherish the Christmas stockings and Sacks that she have done for my family and extended family over the years. Even when it was short notice, I would want one and she would say I don’t have time but before I knew if the phone would ring and she would have it done. Cherish all the wonderful memories. Thinking of you all.

To The Family: I am heartbroken at the loss of such an amazing friend....Brenda was a very special lady, treasured by everyone that had the honour to know her. Such a wonderful personality, from her first days in Campbellton as a teacher, to visiting her at the Manor in recent months, she always had that beautiful smile and her quick wit, and fabulous sense of humour would quickly bring a smile to everyone around her. You her family have so many wonderful memories that will surely help you navigate the road ahead. I will cherish each memory I have. My most sincere sympathy, love and prayers to each of you her family. Wishing you all God’s peace and strength. Love to you all.♥️

The passing of Brenda brought many memories to mind.
It was a privilege to have known her as a dedicated worker and friend.
For many years she could be counted on to replace me whenever I had to leave my workplace. Always ready, sometimes with short notice, and always pleasant.
Sincere Sympathy to you all at this sad time in your lives.

Brenda was a pillar of the community, and a big influence in the lives of Campbellton's youth and young people. She was many things to many different people. To me, Brenda was the one who put a smile on everyone's face. She was the Sunday school teacher who couldn't wait to break out the clown costume whenever the church had a Rally Day. She was the lady in church who always gave us candy. She was the one who encouraged us to learn music and to use it to glorify God. She was the one who always had an open door, and a cookie or two, for any of us who would find ourselves close by. My fondest memories of Brenda are from church. She made everything special, she made everything lively, and she made everything memorable. Brenda will be missed by so many, and her loss will undoubtedly be felt throughout our hometown, and in the hearts of everyone she brought joy to over the years.

Brenda was so important to so many people and played such a valued roles in many lives, mine included. She has always held a special place in my heart right from a very early age. Not only was she Brown owl and a Sunday school teacher, junior soilder leader but she was like a second mother to those who got to know her and grew to love her. I have many fond memories with Brenda all up through my childhood right into adulthood. Always a beaming smile and a hug when we met and reminiscing on the good old days of when she first came to campbellton and boarded with Nan and Pop. To stories of taking me to brownie camp and putting up with all of our shenanigans on a Friday night gathering around the table and laughing and carrying on. Brenda will forever hold a special place in my heart. To Jason, Charlene and Shane you were truly blessed with an angel of a mother may her loving memories bring you comfort during this time and remember she is reunited in heaven with her family and loved ones awaiting her arrival. Till we meet again. You are all in my thoughts and prayers…. Love always. Cathy Rideout

To Guy and Family,
To read about Brendas passing today truly made my heart sink. A beautiful lady gone too soon. It was a pleasure to have her sit in my chair and to be given the opportunity to cut her hair all while she told me stories of her Mom, her children and of course jokes as well. She was always happy go lucky when I seen her and could definitely brighten your day. Thinking of you all and sending love for the difficult days ahead.
