It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Don, a resident of Little Burnt Bay, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander at the age of 71 years.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his loving wife Barb; son Christopher (Suzette), daughter Leeann (Kyle); grandchildren, Rylee and Lyla Moreau; his mother Ailene Riggs and stepbrother Terry.

Also mourning Don's loss are his sister-in-law Bonnie (Rev. Donald) Donaghey, brother-in-law Ken Sherlock, niece Lilly (Harant) Gosh and other relatives and friends.

Don was predeceased by his Parents in law Audrie and Robert Sherlock and sister-in-law Jane Sherlock.

Resting at Families Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral will take place from Families Funeral Home on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1pm with cremation to follow. Burial will take place at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family.
