Passed peacefully away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander at the age of 97 years. Joseph Hancock was born in Joe Batt’s Arm on November 22, 1924 to the late Charles and Selina Hancock.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his three sons, Ches (Donna), Charles and Junior (Craig); five grandchildren, Casey Hancock, Durwin Hancock, Norine Hancock, Jordan Hancock and Jeffrey Hancock; great-grandchildren, Jay, Jasmine, Noah, Xavier, and piper. As well as nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home, Lewisporte with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will take place from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Stanhope on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Stanhope.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Stanhope.
