Obituary of Helen Mercer

Helen Mercer of Baytona, passed peacefully away at the age of 84 years on Friday, August 20, 2022 at lakeside Homes in Gander. Helen was born on Joe Batt’s Arm she was the daughter of the Late Sidney and Sarah Head. Leaving to cherish her memory, her loving husband Frederick; children, Elaine, Wade (Myra) and Tina; grandchildren, Dylan, Erin, Gregory, Eric, Dustin, and Tamera. As well her seven great-grandchildren; brother Simon and her sisters, Bernice Abbott and Lorraine Brushett. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Roy and brothers, Ross, Alvin, Roy, and sister Madeline Trask. Visitation will take place from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Baytona on Sunday, from 4-6pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 22, at 2pm with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Baytona. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Cemetery Fund.
