I was saddened to read of Millicent's passing. What a joy she was! She sang in the community choir here in Corner Brook for many years and I was privileged to cross her path in the late 90's when I was the conductor. She was always so pleasant, had a hug for me, asked how I was and continued many years after I gave up leadership, to tell me how much she loved me. I'll never forget her smile and encouragement. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Condolences to her family.

Our deepest condolences to Millicent's family. We knew Millicent when we attended St. John's the Evangelist in Corner Brook, and she was a member of the choir. A very kind, fun filled and loving person. Also knew her husband Cyril. As he and I were members of the Rod & Gun Club. They were both beautiful people.

Hi Bernard, Byron, Phyllis & Dean
We have not seen your Mom very often in recent years. We live in PE and our 2 children & grandchildren
live in Ont. & BC. So that's where we go to visit and not NL. But we have very fond memories of both your
Mom & Dad - Dancing at Mom & Dad's place (Lem & Jessie) and also meeting them by accident at
Stanhope Camp Ground where we all happen to be camping at the same time. Also your Mom & Dad,
Uncle Frank & Marg visiting us for dinner in Dunstaffnage, PE. Keep your memories alive. She lived a long
and healthy life...
One of your many cousins Rolla (Vincent) Morley.
Bernard here is my hotmail address - smithrolla@hotmail.com. We have some priceless pictures
if you would like to have them.

To Byron, Pat, and the Sheppard Family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was such a beautiful and kind hearted woman. It was a privilege to care for her while she was at Pleasantview. She had such a sweet smile and loved when we sat down and spent time with her. Please know that my prayers are with you at this time. I pray that you would feel the Lord’s comfort and peace as you cherish the many memories you have of her.
God Bless you,

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. We became good friends the first Sunday night her and Mr Sheppard came to the Westside Pentecostal Church they loved the music and singing, but before they left the church she had to tell me something and then we would have a laugh, and she would say don’t forget to visit and pray for me. Your mom was a special person I knew you all without even seeing you because she always spoke so highly of everyone of you and then she would show me pictures she was so proud. My most favourite memory and will never forget was the many times I visited with her and we told each other stories about growing up but mostly before I leave she would ask me to pray, those were precious moments. On Labour Day weekend we visited her even though she didn’t know me but she still had something funny to say. Mrs Sheppard we loved you dearly and now you are where you long for and soon I will see you again until then look for me because I will be there. Davis and Darlene Wheeler Corner Brook

I just read of the passing of Mrs. Sheppard. We were neighbors in Corner Brook. She was such a gracious lady. She blessed us with her skills in her breads and tea buns. She would be so excited when I would attend her church, her smile was radiant, especially if I was the guest preacher. Her and Mr. Sheppard often came to the Westside Tabernacle for the evening services in their later years. And, again she would beam with happiness.
May the good memories fill your hearts.
